Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic distribution team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in inventory management, order fulfillment, and materials handling within a fast-paced warehouse environment. This position offers opportunities to operate heavy equipment, utilize warehouse management systems, and contribute to efficient shipping and receiving operations. Prior warehouse experience and mechanical knowledge are highly valued for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Manage inventory control through accurate stock counting and data entry using SAP B1
  • Operate heavy equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers safely and efficiently
  • Load and unload shipments, ensuring proper handling of materials with heavy lifting techniques
  • Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment with precision using RF scanners and order fulfillment procedures
  • Stock shelves and organize warehouse space to optimize workflow
  • Assist in shipping & receiving activities, including documentation and inventory updates
  • Maintain a clean, safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and mechanical knowledge for equipment maintenance
  • Support warehouse distribution processes by coordinating with team members to meet daily operational goals

Experience

  • Previous warehouse experience preferred, including familiarity with warehouse distribution, inventory management, and order picking
  • Experience operating heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cranes, pallet jacks, and other material handling machinery
  • Prior experience in shipping & receiving, stock management, or warehouse supervision is beneficial for advancement opportunities

This role is essential for maintaining efficient warehouse operations through skilled materials handling, equipment operation, and inventory control. Candidates should be prepared to work in a physically demanding environment while adhering to safety standards.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
