Job Summary

Lead the development of physics based accelerated lifetime models for core optical components in Credo LED cable products including leading the interpretation of physical analysis and incorporation of experimental data into model parameter determination.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the physical analysis based determination of failure modes for core optical and electrical components in Credo LED cable product.
  • Lead the development and utilization of novel characterization techniques in-house and with partners that illuminate and quantify the specific process, design or fabrication steps that corelate to specific failure modes.
  • Together with the relevant process/device owner(s) collaborate on the identification and communication of alternate fabrication techniques that eliminate or reduce specific failure modes.
  • Contribute to development of supplier technical gap closure plans and recommend investments that optimize quality and minimize system failure rate.
  • Collaborate with global operations team to bring ALC products from R&D to high volume manufacturing at acceptable and consistent yields through in-line test development.

Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years experience in development of GaN LED and uLED characterization and physical analysis techniques.
  • Proven experience developing accelerated lifetime models based on physics based modeling augmented with physical analysis techniques.
  • Flexibility with travel to support global supply chain.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PhD in Electrical Engineering, Material Science, Physics or similar field.
  • Experience leading manufacturing engineering.
  • Experience leading manufacturing operations.
