Job Summary

We are seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our dynamic team at PartsAvatar. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and enhancing our innovative online platform, ensuring that our customers have seamless access to automotive parts information and services. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the evolution of the automotive retail industry.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software applications that meet business requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices in software development.
  • Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance and reliability.
  • Utilize Agile methodologies to manage project timelines and deliverables effectively.
  • Implement database solutions using PostgreSQL and Redis for data management and retrieval.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 4+ years of proven experience in software development.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java and Python.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of version control systems such as GitHub.
  • Knowledge of PostgreSQL for database management is essential.
  • Experience with AWS is preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Location & Work Arrangement

This position is based in Mississauga . We offer a hybrid work model requiring 3 days a week in the office (Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday).

Timings : 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m (Hybrid)
