Production Manager

Our client, an expanding industry leader, is looking for a Production Manager to join their team. In this exciting position, you will take a lead role in completing production targets, staff management and oversee plant operations. This is a great opportunity to be a key stakeholder in a growing company that invests in its employees.
What you will do in this role:
- Provides leadership and direction to staff including motivating, mentoring, and cross-training.
- Participate in ongoing H&S training, audits etc.
- Hands-on and prioritizes safety, quality control, operational efficiency, and a strong commitment to continuous improvement.
- Ensures customer satisfaction by maintaining product integrity, practicing highest levels of GMP's and conforming to all company's safety programs and SOPs.
- Review daily production schedules while working with plans and advise management of any discrepancies or issues to ensure production process meets and exceeds expected KPIs, attainment and efficiencies.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Monitor and maintain productivity targets, with a high emphasis on efficiency improvement and cost of goods reduction.
- Coordinate and develop documentation, standards, and processes to ensure quality and consistency in the manufacturing process.
What you will bring to the role:
- 5+ years production management (titled) experience within the manufacturing sector required.
- 4+ years TPM and CI, Lean, 5S or Kaizen experience required.
- Bachelor's degree required. BA in Engineering ideal.
