This person is expected to obtain it's Class 1 Learner license within 3 months of hire and go through MELT program (at the cost of GFS) to become a Class 1 Local Delivery Driver in GFS.Shifts will be based out of Kelowna. Will be assigned to work at other depots near Kelowna as per business needs.Duties And ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities include correctly offloading product to customer location, assisting the Class 1 Local Delivery Driver with product delivery and other duties as assigned.Required Skills And QualificationsAbility to lift, load, push, pull and carry items up to 60 lbsValid Class 5 licenseAbility to work independently as well as assist team members when necessaryExcellent communication and time management skillsSafe operation of all equipmentStrong work ethic and positive attitudeProfessional demeanor and customer service focusAbility to excel in a fast paced, physically demanding positionBe a team player and model the GFS Cornerstone ValuesConsistent on-time attendanceAvailability for weekends and statutory holidays.GFSCAWe thank all applicants for their interest, however only those selected for the next stage will be contacted.
