Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Handy Man to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and improving various facilities and equipment to ensure a safe, functional, and well-maintained environment. This role offers an opportunity to utilize diverse skills in carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and general maintenance tasks. The Handy Man will play a vital role in supporting the overall operations by addressing maintenance needs promptly and efficiently.

Perform

• Conduct repairs related to carpentry, plumbing, electrical systems, and painting
• Install or replace fixtures, appliances, and hardware as required
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards across all work areas
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or management
• Assist with remodeling projects or upgrades as needed
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and best practices

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Handy Man or in a similar maintenance role
• Strong knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical systems, and general repairs
• Ability to troubleshoot issues efficiently and implement effective solutions
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual tasks
• Valid driver's license is preferred for travel between sites or procurement of supplies
• Reliable transportation and own basic tools are a plus
