Job Summary

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Counter Help to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, assisting with food preparation, and ensuring a clean and organized workspace. This position requires a strong focus on food safety and sanitation while delivering an outstanding dining experience to our guests.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately.
  • Prepare food items according to established recipes and standards.
  • Operate the POS system, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the counter area, adhering to sanitation guidelines.
  • Assist with food handling, ensuring proper storage and preparation techniques are followed.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Upsell menu items to enhance the customer experience and increase sales.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
  • Follow food safety protocols to maintain a safe dining environment.

Skills

  • Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
  • Proficiency in time management to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards.
  • Experience with food preparation techniques and kitchen operations is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
