Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Construction Laborer to join our team. This role involves assisting with various construction projects, supporting skilled tradespeople, and ensuring the smooth progress of building activities. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, safety-conscious, and eager to learn new skills in a dynamic construction environment.

Duties

  • Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment on-site
  • Prepare construction sites by cleaning and setting up necessary tools and materials
  • Support skilled workers such as carpenters, masons, and electricians in their tasks
  • Perform basic tasks such as digging, lifting and carrying materials
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
  • Follow all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
  • Operate basic hand tools and assist with equipment setup as needed
  • Help with site cleanup at the end of each workday to ensure a safe environment
  • Report to site super

Requirements

  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions
  • Prior experience in construction or manual labor is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential
  • Strong work ethic with attention to safety procedures
  • Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately
  • Reliable transportation to job sites; valid driver's license is preferred but not mandatory
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Lift 50 lbs
  • Expected to be on site 7:00am - 4:00pm

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 44 per week
