We are seeking a dedicated and personable Customer Service Representative to join our team. This role involves engaging with customers to provide exceptional service, resolving inquiries, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Duties
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat
- Look up parts and product information in our computer system and prepare and email quotes to customers
- Print and process orders for the warehouse
- Operate the credit card machine and handle basic payment transactions
- Assist customers with product or service information, troubleshooting issues, and order processing
- Perform accurate data entry to update customer records and transaction details
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to enhance customer experience and business growth
- Maintain a high level of phone etiquette and communication skills during all interactions
- Collaborate with team members to resolve complex issues efficiently
- Document customer interactions thoroughly for future reference and analysis
Skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficiency in data entry with attention to detail
- Basic computer and software skills (training provided)
- Reliable, punctual, and organized
- Strong analysis skills to assess customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions
- Experience in sales, upselling, and customer service preferred
- Ability to demonstrate professional phone etiquette and active listening skills
- Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to handle diverse customer interactions confidently
