What You'll Do

You'll work closely with our welders and production team to support a variety of welding and fabrication tasks, including:

  • Material Preparation: Help gather and organize materials, tools, and equipment needed for welding projects.
  • Cleaning & Grinding: Prepare metal surfaces by removing rust and debris; perform grinding and sanding as needed.
  • Material Handling: Move materials to and from work areas safely using equipment like forklifts or hand trucks.
  • Assembly Support: Hold or clamp metal parts in position for welding.
  • Tool Maintenance: Keep welding tools and equipment clean and in working order.
  • Safety First: Follow all safety procedures and wear proper PPE at all times.
  • Quality Checks: Inspect finished welds and components for defects to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Documentation: Keep track of tasks completed, time worked, materials used, and any issues encountered.
  • Plus, other duties as assigned—we're a team and we support each other where needed.

Who You Are

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a similar role is an asset but not required
  • Basic knowledge of welding tools and techniques
  • Safety-conscious with strong attention to detail
  • Physically capable of lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods
  • Team-oriented and dependable
  • Valid driver's license and/or reliable transportation
