Reliable Equipment Rentals Ltd. provides aerial equipment rentals and services to valued customers throughout southwestern British Columbia.
We are looking for a Service Coordinator to assist with scheduling, coordination, and tracking of service jobs to ensure timely and effective completion. This role serves as a key point of contact between customers, technicians, and internal teams, ensuring that all service work meets or exceeds the expectations of internal and external customers.
Monday to Friday, 7:00AM to 3:30PM
$26.00 to $32.00 per hour depending on experience, skills, and qualifications

Responsibilities and Duties:
- Coordinate and schedule service jobs for equipment, assigning work to technicians based on availability, skills, and priority
- Communicate clearly with technicians regarding job details, priorities, and customer requirements
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding service inquiries, scheduling, and updates
- Track service job progress and ensure timely completion, escalating issues as needed
- Maintain accurate service records, documentation, and reports in the company's management system
- Monitor and manage service workload to optimize efficiency and resource allocation
- Collaborate with sales, operations, and other internal teams to meet customer requirements
- Ensure adherence to company policies, safety standards, and quality guidelines in all service activities
- Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance service delivery and customer satisfaction
- Performs other duties as assigned
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with scheduling software, service management systems, and Microsoft Office
- Customer-service focused with strong problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Calm under pressure and adaptable to changing priorities
- Professional and customer-focused approach
- Ability to safely lift and carry up to 30 lbs.
Experience, Training, Certification and Education:
- 2+ years of experience in service coordination, dispatch, or operations support preferred
- Experience working with technicians, scheduling software, and customer service is an asset
- Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record
Working Conditions:
- Office-based role with frequent interaction with shop and yard personnel
- Fast-paced environment supporting equipment service operations
- Personal Protective Equipment required at all times
- Exposure to construction and industrial equipment
- Exposure to typical hazards associated with equipment service and mechanical trades
