Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated Furniture Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. In this energetic role, you will be instrumental in managing inventory, operating heavy equipment, and ensuring the smooth flow of furniture products through our warehouse. Your proactive approach will help us maintain efficient warehouse distribution, order fulfillment, and shipping & receiving processes.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate heavy equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and move furniture items
  • Manage inventory control using warehouse management systems (WMS)
  • Assist with order picking and packing to fulfill customer orders efficiently and accurately
  • Load and unload shipments while adhering to OSHA safety standards and mechanical operation protocols
  • Maintain organized storage areas by stocking furniture items systematically for easy access and retrieval
  • Support shipping & receiving activities by preparing items for shipment and verifying incoming deliveries against purchase orders
  • Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize warehouse distribution processes and improve overall workflow

Requirements

  • Proven experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, or furniture distribution is preferred
  • Valid certification in forklift operation, reach truck, crane, or heavy equipment operation is highly desirable
  • Mechanical knowledge related to warehouse machinery and materials handling equipment
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), AS400 systems, RF scanners, and order picker tools
  • Strong ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper ergonomic practices
  • Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and best practices for warehouse safety
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in stocking, order picking, packing, and shipping processes
  • Previous experience in manufacturing or construction environments is a plus

Pay: $40,000.00-$45,000.00 per year
