THIS POSITION IS LOCATED IN DEAD MAN'S FLATS, ALBERTA.

We are looking for a reliable Shop Helper to join our busy machine & fabrication shop.

This is a hands-on role supporting daily shop operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Load and unload metal plate onto the plasma cutting table
  • Operate overhead cranes safely and efficiently
  • Perform saw cutting and grinding of metal material
  • Assist with basic machine maintenance (cleaning, lubrication, general upkeep)
  • Support machinists and fabricators with day-to-day tasks
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area
  • Help with material handling, shipping/receiving, and general shop duties

Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and move heavy materials safely
  • Comfortable working in an industrial shop environment
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn
  • Safety-focused mindset at all times
  • Related experience an asset

Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday (overtime as needed)

Location: Limestone Valley Road, Dead Man's Flats AB

Wage: $20.00 / hour

This position is ideal for someone looking to gain hands-on experience and build a long-term future in the trades, with exposure to machining, fabrication, and industrial equipment.
