The Supply Chain Analyst will be responsible for the day-to-day supply plans with analysis as well as maintenance of supply chain master data within ERP (Syspro). This role ensures data integrity, accuracy, and availability to support business decision-making and efficient supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities And Accountabilities
Analytical & Reporting Support
- Responsible for supply plans, supporting in forecasting and demand capacity management analysis.
- Collaborate with internal teams specially buyers to monitor and optimize purchasing activities and supplier delivery performance.
- Provide analytical insights into inventory levels, supplier performance, demand/supply trends, and procurement effectiveness.
- Generate, analyze, and distribute regular and ad hoc reports to support supply chain decision-making.
- Develop, support and maintain dashboards and visualizations in BI Tools/Excel for supply chain KPIs and performance tracking.
Master Data Management & Maintenance
- Maintain, update, and validate supply chain master data in Syspro (e.g., item master, supplier data, BOMs, routings, lead times, pricing, etc.).
- Identify and resolve data inconsistencies or errors in a timely manner.
- Analyze data and Implement controls/standard procedures to ensure ongoing master data integrity and accuracy.
- Support system and process improvements related to master data governance.
Supply Chain Operational Analysis
- Identify opportunities to improve Syspro utilization, automate reports, and streamline workflows.
- Participate in supply chain system enhancement projects.
- Working knowledge of Syspro supply chain modules and Qlik Sense reporting tools.
- Provide data-driven insights to improve inventory working capital efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Analyze purchase price variances, inventory valuations, and supply chain cost drivers.
- Assist in reconciling financial and operational data to ensure alignment between supply chain and finance.
- Close collaboration with Engineering teams for BOM releases to identify errors (if any) prior job releases in Syspro to drive accurate supply planning process.
- Support activities related to supply chain operations.
- Other duties as assigned.
Essential Qualifications, Knowledge And Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, IT or a related field. Advanced degree is an asset
- Holds a Supply Chain Management certification (e.g. ASCM (APICS) CSCP/CPIM, ISM CPSM, Supply Chain Canada SCMP).
- 5 years of experience in a supply chain, procurement, or data analysis role, preferably within a ETO manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, e-commerce or distribution environment.
- Strong understanding of supply chain processes, including demand planning, procurement, inventory management, and logistics.
- Analytical thinking and data-driven decision-making
- Hands-on experience with any ERP (required) – Syspro is preferred and strong asset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel preferred (pivot tables, complex advanced formulas)
- Solid understanding of supply chain principles, and the ability to generate and interpret reports to support buyers and the Demand/Supply Planning Manager.
- Knowledge of BI for data visualization and reporting is highly desirable. Experience using Qlik Sense or similar BI/data visualization tools.
- Cross-functional collaboration and communication on all levels.
- Systems and Continuous improvement mindset.
- Familiarity with the financial aspects of supply chain management.
- Initiative and ownership of tasks with minimal supervision.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
