Supply Chain Security Program Manager

This role will require 50% travel to Terminals across Canada
As a Suppy Chain Security Program Manager your responsibility wil be to create and implement supply chain security programs that meet CTPAT and PIP requirements. Ensure that company adheres to the security standards and procedures outlines by CTPAT and PIP. Assess potential security risks within the supply chain and implement measures to mitigatet them.
How You'll Help
- Lead and manager the company's participation in CTPAT and PIP programs.
- Develop and maintain company's security profiles in partnership with our internal security team, annual reviews and required documentation in compliance with CBP and CBSA guidelines.
- Conduct regular internal audits and risk assessments to ensure compliance with CTPAT and PIP requirements.
- Identify and evaluate instances of non-compliance, providing corrective action measures.
- Liaise with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), Canadian Border Service Agency (CBSA), and other regulatory authorities as needed.
- Liaise with the internal security team to coordinate training and awareness programs for relevant internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) to reflect evolving security regulations and best practices.
- Manage the validation and revalidation process, including site visits and responding to government inquires.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams (Procurement, Dedicated, Legal) to ensure alignment with compliance objectives.
- Prepare reports and present findings to senior leadership regarding program performance and improvement opportunities.
Your Skills & Experience:
- Certification or Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in similar role, or transportation industry preferred.
- Certification in HACCP or CTPAT/PIP is highly desirable.
- Internal auditor certification with RPM and COR is desirable.
- Experience in incident investigation and conducting comprehensive internal audits.
- Strong expertise in CTPAT and PIP standards.
- Ability to conduct comprehensive audits and manage compliance.
- Strong knowledge of Canadian and U.S. regulations and standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and training skills.
- Communication skills - advanced
- Computer skills – accuracy, MS products, AS400, web based programs
- Demonstrated customer relationship skills
- Strong conflict resolution skills
- Able to work deadlines in high transactional environment
- Ability to champion business needs in a collaborative manner to colleagues
- Results focused
- Working computer literacy in MS Office, ERP, AS400 and Customs systems
- Experience in customs broker industry would be considered an asset
