Overview

As a Senior Paid Ads Performance Marketing Analyst, you will lead the strategy, execution, and optimization of high-impact paid advertising campaigns across Google Ads, paid social platforms, and other performance channels. You will own performance outcomes, drive scalable growth, and

mentor team members while leveraging automation and AI tools to improve efficiency and ROI.

This role requires a highly experienced performance marketer with strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to translate data into measurable business results.

Key Responsibilities

Paid Advertising Strategy & Leadership

  • Own the end-to-end paid media strategy across Google Ads (Search, Display, YouTube, Shopping) and paid social platforms (Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.).
  • Lead large-scale, high-budget campaigns focused on revenue growth, lead quality, and ROAS.
  • Define and monitor advanced performance benchmarks including CPA, LTV, ROAS, CAC, and conversion efficiency.
  • Provide strategic guidance and mentorship to junior paid ads and marketing team members.

Performance Optimization & Testing

  • Continuously optimize campaign structure, bidding strategies, creatives, landing pages, and audience targeting.
  • Design and lead A/B and multivariate testing frameworks to improve funnel performance.
  • Diagnose performance issues and proactively implement corrective strategies.
  • Oversee budget pacing and reallocation to maximize ROI across channels.

Analytics, Reporting & Insights

  • Lead performance analysis using Google Analytics, attribution models, and platform insights.
  • Develop executive-level performance reports with clear insights and actionable recommendations.
  • Translate complex data into business-focused insights for leadership and clients.
  • Support forecasting, scaling strategies, and long-term growth planning.

Account management, Client communication & Relationship Ownership

  • Own assigned client accounts end-to-end, including performance outcomes and client relationships.
  • Act as the primary client-facing performance lead, translating data and results into clear, business-focused insights.
  • Lead structured weekly and monthly check-ins focused on performance, learnings, and next-step strategy.
  • Proactively manage expectations, performance risks, and optimization roadmaps.
  • Build trusted, long-term client partnerships by moving from execution to strategic advisory.
  • Serve as the bridge between clients and internal teams, ensuring alignment, clarity, and efficient delivery.
  • Identify opportunities for account growth, cross-channel expansion, and long-term retention through performance insights.

Automation, AI & Marketing Operations

  • Architect and manage marketing automation workflows for lead nurturing, onboarding, and retention.
  • Leverage AI-powered tools for campaign optimization, ad creative generation, and operational efficiency (e.g., GoHighLevel, Zapier, AI creative platforms).
  • Ensure accurate conversion tracking, event setup, and CRM integrations across platforms.

Strategy, Research & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Conduct in-depth competitive and market analysis to identify growth opportunities and risks.
  • Define audience segmentation and messaging strategies based on behavioral and performance data.
  • Collaborate with creative, content, sales, and product teams to align paid media with business objectives.
  • Support and optimize customer onboarding journeys, ensuring smooth handoffs and measurable outcomes.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience managing Google Ads and paid social campaigns at scale.
  • Proven track record of driving measurable growth through performance marketing.
  • Advanced proficiency in Google Analytics, conversion tracking, attribution modeling, and reporting.
  • Strong experience with email marketing and automation platforms (HubSpot, Klaviyo, Mailchimp, etc.).
  • Experience with CRM systems and customer journey tracking.
  • Demonstrated experience managing budgets, forecasting performance, and improving ROAS.
  • Knowledge of AI tools for digital marketing and automation is a strong advantage.
  • Experience mentoring or leading team members is preferred.
  • Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present insights to senior stakeholders.

Pay: CA$20 - $25 per hour
