Are you a seasoned engineer with a passion for solving complex building challenges and the people skills to build long-lasting client relationships?

We're looking for a Senior Civil Engineer to join our Building Restoration Group. This is a key leadership opportunity to serve existing and future clients across the North Central Ontario market while supporting a variety of building restoration projects from concept to completion.

This role can be based out of Pickering, Mississauga, Hamilton, Newmarket, Barrie, or Collingwood, offering flexibility while being part of a tight-knit, high-performing team.

What You'll Do:

  • Manage building restoration projects including concrete restoration, cladding renewal, roof replacement, building condition assessments, and capital planning.
  • Lead client engagement—building trust, delivering solutions, and growing relationships.
  • Prepare proposals, tender and contract documents, and manage project finances and invoicing.
  • Oversee construction-phase services, including contract administration and site inspections.
  • Review and sign off on inspection reports and technical documentation.
  • Mentor and support junior staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance team culture.
  • Coordinate with contractors, sub-consultants, and approval agencies.
  • Track and manage project budgets, schedules, and QA/QC processes.
  • Maintain strong, responsive communication with stakeholders at every stage of the project.

What You Bring:

  • 10+ years of building science or building restoration experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or Applied Science (or related discipline).
  • P.Eng. designation in good standing with Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO).
  • Possessing a BSS designation will be an asset
  • Experience managing multi-disciplinary projects and client accounts.
  • Strong communication skills—for both technical discussions and client relationships.
  • Proven organizational and time-management skills in a consulting environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel); adaptable to new systems and platforms.

This is a fantastic opportunity to take a leadership role on a growing team, deliver meaningful projects, and strengthen client partnerships across a diverse portfolio of restoration work.

Ready to bring your experience to a company that values collaboration, integrity, and technical excellence?

Are you interested in working for an employer with a 5-decade track record of building a great reputation both internally with their staff and externally with their clients? The team is a supportive group of colleagues that work together to provide value and service to our clients, while extending care to each other. We know that our employees are our greatest asset, and thus we strive to provide a positive work/life balance.

We offer:

  • A collaborative culture where friendship, honesty and respect are part of our core values and practices
  • Flexible working hours and office locations, including hybrid working opportunities
  • A competitive compensation and benefits package
  • RRSP company matching plan
  • Career growth and professional development opportunities
  • Potential for performance-driven bonusing
  • Active social committees
  • A welcoming, positive, and inclusive work environment
