Right now, our online presence is underutilized. That's where you come in.

Role Summary

This is not an entry-level social media role.

You're being brought in to build and operate a high-output organic content system that makes Brave Academy impossible to ignore online.

Your mandate:

  • Push consistent, daily short-form content to grow Instagram and YouTube aggressively
  • Build real trust and authority in a skeptical contractor audience
  • Drive community growth, email capture, and booked discovery calls

If you want full ownership of a content engine and the freedom to move fast, this role is built for you.

Responsibilities & Ownership1) Daily Content Engine (Volume + Consistency)

  • Publish at least 3 pieces of content per day across Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube (TikTok is secondary)
  • Own the full workflow: idea → edit → caption → publish → engage, without hand-holding
  • Repurpose single ideas into multiple assets: shorts, posts, Skool prompts, email snippets
  • Keep content practical, industry-relevant, and value-driven — no gimmicks

2) Short-Form That Actually Performs

You will:

  • Produce a minimum of 5 short-form videos per week (more when capacity allows)
  • Obsess over the opening 1–3 seconds — hooks drive reach in 2025
  • Edit for retention using pacing, pattern breaks, on-screen text, and tight narratives
  • Deliver clean exports with proper captions and overlays (no watermark penalties or sloppy cross-posting)

3) Weekly Long-Form YouTube Content

  • Produce one long-form YouTube video per week
  • These act as authority pillars and are broken into dozens of shorts
  • The tone should blend:
  • Grant Cardone–level certainty
  • High-energy, engaging delivery
  • Strong creative execution

4) Long-to-Short Production System

Every filming session should result in:

  • 1–2 long-form pillar videos
  • 10–20 short-form clips pulled from that footage

This is a proven creator system used by top operators. Your job is to keep the pipeline full so content never stalls.

5) Episodic Content & Series Creation

Design repeatable formats that encourage daily viewing, such as:

  • "Burnt-Out Builder Rebuilds His Business"
  • "Cabinet Shop Cash Flow Clinic"
  • "What Your Numbers Are Telling You"

Instagram now supports connected Reel series. You'll build content like episodes, not one-off posts.

6) On-Site Filming & Travel

  • Film with Lee 1–2 days per week in Kamloops (batched sessions)
  • Travel with Lee across Canada and the US as needed

Requirements:

  • Valid passport
  • Clean criminal record (RCMP background check required)
  • Driver's license and personal vehicle
  • Personal camera gear and editing-capable laptop (4K workflow)
  • Comfortable filming outdoors, off-grid, and on the road
  • Capture still photos when required

(We currently have a Sony A7iii and lighting, with plans to expand into drones and additional gear.)

7) Content Ideation Leadership

  • You generate roughly 60% of content ideas
  • Lee contributes strategic input weekly (40%)
  • You bring concepts, hooks, scripts, formats, and production plans to the table

8) Brand Trust & Credibility Protection

  • We position as serious operators, not internet gurus
  • No trend-chasing, dances, or empty content
  • If it doesn't help a burned-out cabinet maker or renovation contractor, it doesn't get published
  • Client content requires approvals and releases
  • Must understand North American humor, tone, and culture

9) Community & Conversion Loop

  • Respond daily to comments and DMs
  • Turn engagement into:
  • Skool memberships
  • Email subscribers
  • Booked discovery calls

This role builds momentum, not just posts.

10) Performance Tracking & Testing

Weekly reporting on:

  • Content volume shipped
  • Top-performing pieces
  • Retention trends
  • Follower and lead
