What's the opportunity?
You will provide leadership and subject matter expertise for P&CB's fraud loss forecasting. You will lead the forecasting and planning process for Fraud Management, partnering with portfolio owners within the team, as well as business risk leads, Finance, Corporate Investigation Services, and Group Risk Management.
You will provide business leaders and senior management within Fraud Management with analysis and insights on trends and overall performance, while streamlining forecasting, planning and strategic outlook requirements. You will be a key enabler within Fraud Management's Strategy team, collaborating with colleagues to effectively communicate overall unit performance.
What will you do?
- Lead the development of monthly and quarterly fraud updates
- Partner with Strategy Leads and senior leadership to evolve monthly/quarterly fraud updates
- Develop commentary and presentations to inform decision making for senior leadership
- Responsible for the bi-annual forecast, 5-year outlook and plan submissions
- Work closely with Strategy Leads to develop accurate forecasts that factor in business growth, emerging risks, and evolving business and fraud controls
- Evolve tools for deeper business insights on financial performance
- Identify opportunities and implement solutions to streamline the forecast, planning and performance management processes
- Stay apprised of product and operations strategies and objectives
What you need to succeed
Must have:
- Performance Measurement/Management, Risk Management or Management Consulting experience
- Innovative thinker, who can identify optimization opportunities
- Quantitative and analytical thinker, who can unpack complex and ambiguous problems to identify and distill key opportunities
- Proven expertise with financial forecasting and portfolio trending analysis to inform business decisions
- Strong financial modeling skills using MS Excel
- Ability to effectively package opportunities, socialize and gain alignment with critical parties
- Ability to present to a senior audience and provide compelling evidence towards a course of action
- Collaborative with strong ability to impact and influence key partners
- Mature business acumen with proven business results/successes from past positions
- University degree and a high level of discretion in handling confidential information
Nice to have:
- Advanced business degree or graduate degree in a quantitative field of study
