Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Construction Assistant to support our construction team on various projects. The Construction Assistant will play a vital role in assisting with daily tasks, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and maintaining a productive work environment. Responsibilities

  • Assist with site preparation, including unloading materials and setting up tools and equipment
  • Support skilled tradespeople by providing necessary materials and tools during construction activities
  • Help with the installation of building components under supervision
  • Maintain a clean and organized work site to promote safety and efficiency
  • Follow safety guidelines and protocols at all times to prevent accidents or injuries
  • Perform general labor tasks such as digging, lifting, carrying, and moving materials
  • Assist with inventory management by tracking supplies and equipment usage
  • Support team members with various tasks as needed to ensure project timelines are met

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant coursework or training in construction is a plus
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn new skills
  • Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately
  • Basic understanding of construction safety practices is preferred but not required
  • Prior experience in construction or related fields is advantageous but not mandatory
  • Valid driver's license or G1 willing to take Drivers license
