Stayner Ontario LM S Canada Tim Hortons Full time US$40,000 - US$60,000 per year

As a Tim Hortons Supervisor, you encourage and guide your team members to deliver an amazing guest experience. You involve your team in reaching goals and standards. You will communicate with your team and always promote a welcoming and positive environment for not only the customers, but for your team members as well. Working as a supervisor, you carry skills that help you regulate floor control and assist in the training process for new and long-term employees. You excel in customer service and take pleasure in assisting every customer throughout the day. You will be assisting in managing all areas of the restaurant, including, storefront, drive through, sandwich station and kitchen.

Education:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Skills:

  • Strong customer service
  • Able to identify opportunities to better serve our guest
  • Ability to resolve routine problems
  • Must be able to operate food service point of sale technology
  • Intermediate computer skills, including software such as word, excel, and email.
  • Must have the ability to be mobile for extended periods of time and move from position to position
  • Ability to orientate staff on food service standards and operation procedures
  • Ability to explain and follow marketing and promotional programs

Responsibilities:

  • Establish methods to meet work schedules
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures
  • Directing daily workflow to ensure that all production and quality goals are met
  • Resolving issues/problems as it relates to staff and customers
  • Evaluating and reviewing employee performance
  • Coaching, motivating and counseling staff including administrating disciplinary action when necessary
  • Daily supervisor of the staff to ensure that company polices and procedures are followed
  • Directing and implementing training techniques
  • Tracking and reporting day to day duties that are to be completed to meet standards
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
  • Prepare and submit reports
  • Establish work schedules

Supervision:

  • 5-10 people
  • Food service counter attendants and food preparers

Experience:

  • 1 year to less than 2 years

  • Supports newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition

Support for Youth:

  • Offers on-the-job training tailored to youth

Support for Indigenous People:

  • Develops and maintains relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses and organizations
