Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Skilled Labourer to join our team on an active construction site. The ideal candidate will be capable of working independently, demonstrating strong initiative, and have some hands on experience with tools and basic carpentry or maintenance.

Responsibilities

  • Perform general and labour duties on a construction site
  • Safely operate hand and power tools
  • Load, unload, and move materials and equipment
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Follow all safety standards, procedures, and site regulations
  • Perform construction tasks such as digging, lifting, mixing concrete, and assisting with basic carpentry
  • Assist skilled tradespeople and supervisors with their tasks to ensure project efficiency and quality

Skills

  • Proven experience as a construction labourer with minimum 3 years
  • Physical strength and stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Strong understanding of construction processes and safety procedures
  • Good communication skills including reading and following instructions, both written and verbal
  • Reliable work ethic with punctuality and attention to detail
  • *Must be willing to complete skills assessment as part of interview process*
