**Construction Labourer - Yard**

**Key Information**:

- ** Must have 1 to 2 years of industrial or civil construction or equivalent experience.**:

- ** Must be able handle and distribute construction materials to and from work areas.**:

- ** Hours: Monday - Friday, 9-hour days with a 7:00 AM start.**:

- **Hourly rate is dependent on experience.**:

- **Health benefits and vacation pay offered.**
- ** Handle and distribute construction materials (e.g. load and unload vehicles with supplies, equipment and construction materials; move tools, equipment and construction materials to and from work areas.**:

- Remove rubble and other debris.
- Willing to labour outdoors if needed, is a requirement of the position.
- Assist in the paint booth painting misc. items (sea cans, barricades, etc.)
- Must be able to be fit tested (comfortable shaving facial hair if needed)
- Must be able to operate a skid steer and forklift.

**Experience and Certification Requirements**:

- ** 1 to 2 years of industrial or civil construction or equivalent experience required.**:

- ** Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS 09 or 2020), WHMIS 2015, and ground disturbance 201 are required**.**:

- Must be able to lift moderately heavy weight.
- Good organizational skills are required.
- Pay attention to detail.
- You have a safety conscious attitude and able to work with others in a team.
- ** A reliable means of transportation is required.**:

- Proficient English language skills required.

**Education**: Completion of high school or equivalent is required.
