Position Overview:

Versatile Heavy Duty Services Ltd. is seeking dedicated and reliable Class 1 Drivers to join their team for hauling gravel and drill cuttings in the Bonnyville, Alberta area. This position primarily involves day-shift work on a 10-on, 4-off rotation, averaging 9–12 hours per day, year-round. Shift work is flexible, and from time to time drivers may be required to work scheduled days off to assist with completing jobs. This is an excellent opportunity for both full-time and part-time drivers looking to contribute to a growing company. Our fleet of Kenworth trucks and Doepker end-dump trailers is well maintained and safety-focused.



Key Responsibilities:

Safely transport gravel and drill cuttings to designated locations within the region

Maintain high safety standards at all times while operating equipment

Ensure trucks are loaded and unloaded in accordance with safety protocols and industry regulations

Perform daily pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicles are in proper working condition

Comply with all applicable transportation laws and company policies

Accurately complete logs for hours worked, mileage, and required documentation

Communicate effectively with dispatch to ensure timely and efficient deliveries

Qualifications:

Valid Class 1 Driver's License with an acceptable driving abstract

Valid H2S Alive and First Aid certifications

Ability to pass a pre-access drug and alcohol test as part of company safety requirements

Previous experience hauling gravel or similar materials is considered an asset

Schedule & Pay:

Full-Time Schedule: 10 days on / 4 days off (9–12 hours per day)

Part-Time Schedule: Coverage during full-time driver's days off (4 days) and additional booked-off days

Flexibility: Shift work is flexible; occasional work on scheduled days off may be required when finishing a job

Overtime: Available after 10 hours worked per day

Pay Rate: $35-$40 per hour, depending on experience
