Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Head Housekeeper to lead our cleaning team and ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation across our property. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality, custodial services, or industrial cleaning, with proven leadership skills to manage daily operations efficiently. This role is vital in maintaining a welcoming environment for guests and staff, reflecting our commitment to excellence in service.

Duties

  • Oversee and coordinate all housekeeping activities to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met consistently
  • Supervise and train housekeeping staff, providing guidance on cleaning procedures and safety protocols
  • Develop and implement cleaning schedules, inspections, and quality control measures
  • Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring proper usage and timely replenishment
  • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to maintain standards
  • Collaborate with management to address guest requests or special cleaning needs promptly
  • Enforce health and safety regulations related to industrial cleaning and custodial practices
  • Assist with deep cleaning projects or special event preparations as needed

Requirements

  • Proven experience in hotel housekeeping, custodial services, or industrial cleaning environments
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
  • Knowledge of cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and hospitality industry standards
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards
  • Prior experience in hospitality or custodial roles is highly desirable
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and schedules
