Job Summary

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate various warehouse equipment including reach trucks, forklifts, cranes, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load, unload, and move materials throughout the facility.
  • Manage inventory using warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners to accurately track stock levels and locations.
  • Perform stock replenishment, stocking, and order picking activities to fulfill customer orders efficiently.
  • Assist with packaging products securely for shipment while adhering to safety standards and OSHA regulations.
  • Conduct shipping and receiving duties by verifying inbound and outbound shipments against documentation such as AS400 systems.
  • Support warehouse distribution operations by loading and unloading trucks, organizing materials for easy access, and maintaining a clean work environment.
  • Implement inventory control procedures to minimize discrepancies and optimize stock accuracy through regular cycle counts.
  • Operate heavy equipment with mechanical knowledge for materials handling tasks in manufacturing or construction-related settings.
  • Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to ensure compliance with safety protocols and improve operational workflows.
  • Maintain detailed records of all warehouse activities including incident reports, shift logs, and inventory adjustments.

Requirements

  • Proven warehouse experience with familiarity in inventory management, order fulfillment, shipping & receiving, and stocking procedures.
  • Valid certification or experience operating reach trucks, forklifts, cranes, pallet jacks, or other heavy equipment preferred.
  • Mechanical knowledge related to materials handling equipment is highly desirable.
  • Strong physical stamina capable of heavy lifting and performing repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of OSHA safety standards to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues.
  • Prior experience with warehouse supervision or leadership roles is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate order picking and packing.
  • Ability to work effectively in manufacturing or construction-related environments involving heavy lifting or mechanical tasks.
