Winpak is seeking a Sales Support and Customer Service Manager -Latin America based in Winnipeg, Manitoba to support our Latin America Sales Team. Current Winpak employees who meet the minimum qualifications will be given preference.

We are seeking a results-driven Sales Support and Customer Service Manager - Latin America to lead our regional Marketing and Customer Service Team. Reporting to the Director of Sales & Business Development – Latin America, this role serves as a key liaison between Sales, Technical, Production, and the Mexico plant (WEM) to ensure customer requirements are clearly communicated and efficiently executed. Ability to fluently communicate (verbally and written) in Spanish and English is required.

The Sales Support and Customer Service Manager - Latin America will drive customer satisfaction, resolve complex issues, support strategic initiatives, and oversee the training and development of internal service teams across all Winpak business units.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Territory & Project Oversight – Collect, monitor, and report project status updates from export team members, providing regular visibility of all outstanding LATAM projects to the Director, Sales & Business Development.
  • Sales & Opportunity Management – Collaborate with the LATAM Supervisor and Director to review sales trackers, ensure timely follow-up on opportunities, and support closure of new and existing business.
  • Cross-Functional Liaison – Act as the primary interface between Latin American markets and all Winpak/Wipak Business Units, representing customer needs, feedback, complaints, pricing, logistics, and market opportunities.
  • Market & Product Knowledge – Stay informed of commercial and technical developments within Winpak and the packaging industry; support and conduct product training across business units in collaboration with the LATAM Director.
  • Customer Service Leadership – Provide oversight and support for customer service activities, including order management, samples, pricing, artwork, credit/debit requests, and other customer-related processes across LATAM markets.
  • Process, Policy & Compliance Management – Implement Winpak policies, communicate updates, and create or revise procedures to ensure consistent, compliant, and efficient operations.
  • Pricing, Proposals & Bids – Partner with Sales, Costing, Pricing, and Marketing teams to develop pricing logic, quotes, proposals, bids, and product information aligned with regional strategies.
  • Team Supervision & Development – Supervise Project Sales Specialists and internal coordinators, including performance management, training, job descriptions, workload distribution, and adherence to procedures.
  • Logistics & Inventory Coordination – Coordinate shipments, inventory reporting, warehousing activities, and export documentation to ensure efficient, accurate, and cost-effective delivery to customers.
  • Quality & Continuous Improvement – Promote teamwork, support Winpak's TQI program, ensure ISO 9001 compliance, and assist in developing and maintaining SOPs to improve operational effectiveness.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years in a related manufacturing environment, including 2 years managing a sales territory.
  • Must be able to fluently communicate in Spanish and English (verbally and written).
  • 5+ years of supervisory or management experience with demonstrated skills in performance management, conflict resolution, and negotiation.
  • 5+ years of experience working under minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency using computer systems including Microsoft Office Suite, Movex, and other similar business software.
  • Demonstrated experience in roles requiring high organization, effective prioritization, and successful management of multiple concurrent projects under strict deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • University graduate with a degree in Commerce or International Marketing preferred.

Additional Information:

  • This position is 100% onsite located in Murray Industrial Park in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
  • There is limited bus access to this location.
  • Occasional international travel may be required to attend to business demands.
