We are seeking a Carpenter/Finisher to join our property restoration team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in detailed carpentry work, including installation and finishing of various wood and materials, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship on residential and commercial projects. This role requires precision, attention to detail.
Duties
- Installation of trim, doors & cabinetry
- Drywall repairs
- Handle woodworking tasks including framing, sanding, and finishing of wood surfaces
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, CNC equipment, and scaffolding safely and effectively
- Conduct restoration work on existing structures to match original finishes
- Install flooring, tile laying, siding, roofing components, and perform construction painting when required
- Assist with plumbing and electrical installations related to carpentry projects as necessary
- Measure accurately and estimate materials needed for each project phase
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment adhering to safety protocols
Skills
- Skilled in woodworking techniques including cabinetry installation and general carpentry
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and scaffolding safely
- Knowledge of construction estimating and project planning processes
- Strong understanding of construction safety standards and protocols
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in finishing work
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various construction environments
- Valid drivers License is required
