Kitchen Staff

For 80 years our residential camp has provided a safe and unique experience for children, youth, and adults with developmental disabilities. Our camp is located near Fergus, on Belwood Lake in southwestern Ontario.

Belwood Lodge and Camp is looking to hire dedicated and reliable Kitchen staff. The Kitchen staff responsibilities include cleaning dishes, setting tables, sanitizing surfaces, emptying garbage, overall cleanliness of the Dish room, restocking supplies and organizing inventory. The Kitchen staff also assist the Cook with meal preparation as well as perform other duties as assigned by the Cook. The position is residential and requires staff to live on site. The pay includes meals and lodging.

  • Positive mindset
  • Experience working in a kitchen environment
  • Strong organizational skills
  • An interest in working with people with disabilities
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to problem solve in a fast-paced environment
  • Camp experience is an asset
  • Safe Food Handling Certification (can be obtained before contract starts)
