Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Receptionist / Treatment Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental office by providing exceptional front desk support and patient care. This position requires a friendly demeanor, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage various administrative tasks efficiently.

Duties

  • Greet patients warmly and manage check-in and check-out processes.
  • Schedule appointments and manage the dental office calendar.
  • Maintain accurate patient records using dental software (Cleardent).
  • Answer phone calls promptly, addressing inquiries and providing information about services.
  • Process patient insurance claims and verify coverage details.
  • Assist with billing inquiries and payment processing.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area.
  • Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless patient flow and high-quality care.
  • Stay updated on medical terminology and office procedures to assist patients effectively.

Skills

  • Experience in a medical or dental office setting is preferred.
  • Proficient in front desk operations and managing phone systems.
  • Familiarity with dental software, specifically Cleardent, is a plus.
  • Strong administrative skills with attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dental practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage appointments, records, and office supplies efficiently.
