Role Description

Alpha Security Services is seeking professional and discreet Undercover Loss Prevention Officers
 to join our Barrie operations team. The ideal candidate will have strong situational awareness, excellent observation skills, and the ability to act calmly under pressure.

You will work 
in plain clothes
 to identify, deter, and apprehend shoplifters, ensuring safety and loss reduction for our retail partners.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct covert surveillance inside retail environments.
  • Identify suspicious activity and follow store procedures for safe apprehension.
  • Maintain detailed incident reports and evidence logs.
  • Work closely with store management and law enforcement when required.
  • Ensure compliance with company and client policies at all times.

Qualifications

  • Skills in Retail Loss Prevention and Prevention
  • Strong Communication skills
  • Physical Security and Surveillance abilities
  • Excellent observational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to respond calmly and efficiently in high-pressure situations
  • Valid 
    Ontario Security Guard Licence
     (mandatory).
  • Prior experience in 
    Loss Prevention
     or 
    Retail Security
     preferred.
  • Excellent communication, observation, and reporting skills.
  • Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in high-stress situations.

Employment Type:
 Full-time / Part-time

Salary:
 $18.50 – $22.00 per hour (based on experience)

Schedule:
 8-hour shifts | Thursday,Friday,Saturday,Sunday between 1030 to 2030
