The Senior Data Analyst utilizes their quantitative analytical skills and business intelligence to build actionable tableau reports to empower decision making for Kabam stakeholders. This role has the exceptional ability to convey actionable insights and business health metrics through custom visualizations and data storytelling.
This role is a full-time, on-site position based 5 days a week at our Downtown Vancouver studio. In this role, you can expect to:
  • Provide Cross-functional Support 
  • Collaborate with various teams across the organization to understand their business goals and data needs.
  • Improve reporting processes by identifying inefficiencies and suggesting enhancements.
  • Assist with larger-scale projects as required, contributing data-driven insights.
  • Data Exploration and Analysis
  • Create data visualizations to communicate findings effectively.
  • Perform hands-on exploration of data sets to answer business questions.
  • Use SQL to extract and manipulate data from various sources.
  • Dashboard and Report Management
  • Develop and maintain a suite of dashboards and reports tailored to the needs of different teams within the organization.
  • Ensure that dashboards and reports are up-to-date and accurate.
  • Prepare ad-hoc reports as requested.
  • Business Intelligence and Communication
  • Measure the success of business, game and marketing initiatives using key performance indicators and comparing them against expectation, forecasts and plan.
  • Communicate larger than expected deviations of KPIs using forecasts/historicals using simple and creative visualizations.
To be successful in this role, your background includes:
  • Bachelor's Degree in related field
  • 3+ years of industry data analysis experience, especially in data visualization
  • Proficient in SQL and has experience querying very large data sets
  • Proven ability to thrive using multiple mixed, varied, and inconsistent data sources
  • Fundamental knowledge of project management methodologies
  • Regular communication with stakeholders from other departments, including company leadership,  and drive actionable items for continuous improvement
  • Experience with Google BigQuery, Tableau (Highly Preferred), JIRA and/or other project management software

$92,600 - $115,800 a year The salary range for this position is between CAD$92,600- $115,800. This salary range is specific to candidates located in British Columbia.
