Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • 7+ years construction experience in both construction and/or project administration
  • NCSO / CRSP designation Preferred
  • Drivers license required

Role and Responsibilities:

Health, Safety & Environment

The roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Develop & assist field specific requirements with PMO, such as site specific HSE plans & controls
  • Ensure that any applicable HSE legislation, codes & practices are adopted and adhered to
  • Advise, investigate and report on all serious incidents, injuries and near misses
  • Work to minimize operational loses, occupational accidents and injuries
  • Create & advise Safe Working Practices / Procedures
  • Overall maintenance of qualifying / certifying agencies (COR, ISNetworld, Complyworks, Browz, etc.)
  • Generation and monitoring of HSE trends, statistics and quarterly reporting
  • Conduct and advise on site inspection, audits and findings
  • Manage the development and implementation of TAS and site applications
  • Manage PPE & Safety related consumables, their care and inspections and documentation
  • Understand & maintain industry related knowledge and changes as they pertain to the role

Human Resources

  • Ensure that any applicable Employment Standards, codes and Legislation is adopted & adhered to
  • Oversee the hire, orientation and training of new employees
  • Lead, train and engage workers to productive and knowledgeable levels

Preferred Skills

Strong leadership; comprehensive understanding of entire SOW and work flow; Strong communication skills; Extensive knowledge of Jonas and other software tools such as Project, Visio, Excel, Power Point etc.

Pay: $85,000.00-$95,000.00 per year
