Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher/Kitchen Helper to support our culinary team in maintaining a clean, efficient, and organized kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will assist with food preparation, food handling, and general cleaning duties to ensure smooth daily operations. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in gaining experience in the hospitality and food service industry, including restaurant, hotel, or catering settings. Responsibilities

  • Assist with basic food preparation and cooking tasks under supervision
  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, utensils, and equipment through regular cleaning
  • Handle food safely and follow proper food handling procedures
  • Support the team in setting up and breaking down workstations for meal service
  • Ensure proper storage of ingredients and supplies according to safety standards
  • Follow health and safety regulations at all times to ensure a safe working environment
  • Support inventory management by organizing supplies and notifying management of stock levels
  • Ensuring the cleanliness of all dishes

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in restaurant, hotel, or food service environments is preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of cleaning procedures and food handling safety standards
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Willingness to learn new skills related to kitchen operations and hospitality services
  • Basic understanding of food preparation, cooking, and serving practices is a plus
  • Previous experience with hospitality or food service roles will be considered an advantage

Weekend availability is required.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $17.60 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 30 per week
