Role Overview

We're looking for a Estimator / Project Coordinator to support our pre-construction and execution phases. This role sits at the intersection of estimating, coordination, and operations. You'll work closely with management, field supervisors, and clients to ensure projects are priced accurately and delivered smoothly.

This is a great opportunity for someone with construction or landscaping experience who wants broader exposure and real responsibility & growth

Key Responsibilities:

Estimating

  • Prepare accurate cost estimates for commercial landscaping and construction-related scopes
  • Perform take-offs from drawings and specifications
  • Request and analyze supplier and subcontractor pricing
  • Build and maintain estimating templates and pricing databases
  • Assist with bid submissions and follow-ups

Project Coordination

  • Support project setup from award to close-out
  • Coordinate schedules, materials, and resources with field teams
  • Assist with work orders, change orders, and job tracking
  • Communicate with builders, developers, and general contractors
  • Maintain organized project files and documentation

Administrative & Process Support

  • Help improve internal systems, workflows, and documentation
  • Track project costs vs estimates and flag variances
  • Support invoicing and progress billing as needed

What We're Looking For

  • 1–3+ years of experience in construction, landscaping, estimating, or project coordination
  • Self-starter who takes ownership and follows through
  • Ability to read drawings and understand construction scopes
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Comfortable with numbers, spreadsheets, and documentation
  • Clear communicator, both written and verbal

Assets (Nice to Have):

  • Experience in commercial landscaping or civil construction
  • Landscape Engineering Technology or Construction Engineering Technology Diploma or similar
  • Familiarity with builders and GC environments
  • Experience with estimating software or Excel-based take-offs

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
