Overview

We are seeking a skilled Millwright to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and be adept in various maintenance and repair tasks within an industrial setting. This role requires a thorough understanding of machinery, electrical systems, and mechanical components to ensure optimal operation and safety within our facilities.

Duties

  • Install, maintain, and repair machinery and equipment in accordance with established procedures.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other automated systems.
  • Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking maintenance activities and inventory management.
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment to identify potential problems before they escalate.
  • Perform welding tasks as needed for repairs or modifications to equipment.
  • Collaborate with other trades such as HVAC technicians and industrial electricians to ensure comprehensive maintenance solutions.
  • Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to guide installation and repair efforts.
  • Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with team members and management regarding maintenance needs.
  • Engage in continuous learning to stay updated on industry best practices and new technologies.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in industrial maintenance or manufacturing environments.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to analyze problems effectively.
  • Familiarity with electrical systems, including low voltage applications, is essential.
  • Previous experience as an industrial electrician or in HVAC systems is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in reading schematics and technical documents related to machinery operation.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong customer service skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
