What You'll Do
Quality Performance:

  • Perform ingredient and supplier assessments and keep corresponding documentation up to date
  • Perform self-assessments to identify gaps with customer requirements and support closure of gaps.
  • Execute and/or coordinate internal and/or external audits and initiate and monitor progress of corrective actions in case of deviations.
  • Perform hygiene rounds and work with production on hygiene, QC controls and 5S.
  • Prepare quality performance reports, analyse results and advice on follow-up.

Quality Control and analytical services:

  • Define the monitoring plans for incoming and manufactured goods and ensure correct execution.
  • Support operations in in-process controls, in accordance with the organization guidelines and relevant standards and schemes.
  • Analyze QC and Quality data to identify trends and risks and develop and implement corrective and preventive actions as necessary.

Regulations & Compliances
:

  • Support with local compliances, audits and regulations
  • Support in the development of products: gathering all information, checking correctness.
  • Ensure changes in regulation are reviewed and necessary actions are taken.
  • Support or lead preparation and execution of inspections from authorities.

Quality Management System:

  • Implement feed safety practices, including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), and other relevant food safety programs.

Who We're Looking For

  • Formal education or qualification in engineering, including a bachelor's degree or diploma, along with relevant experience in the manufacturing field or engineering industry.
  • At least 10+ years of solid background in manufacturing with experience in production and maintenance management
  • Previous experience in the aquaculture industry is an asset
  • Good understanding of QC processes, QMS and QC tools
  • Knowledge of food safety, HACCP

You'll also need

  • Ability to work in regular shift on-site all 5 days a week
  • Ability to bent, twist, lift and carry- 5 to 10 kgs of weight occasionally
  • Strong manufacturing background with experience in quality
  • Attention to detail with good data analysis skills
  • Collaborating across departments like Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement
