Guardteck Security is looking for a Full-Time Security Officer in Edmonton. 

Typical Duties and Responsibilities: 

Work with a dynamic team of security professionalsProvide exceptional customer service to visitors of the property, always maintaining a professional imagePatrols of the grounds and propertyBe attentive to safety issues, security breaches, and situations requiring attentionEmergency response to fire alarms, medical emergencies, and other urgent situations as requiredDocument incidents using the appropriate software when applicablePerform crowd control during high-profile events, when applicableHandle Lost & Found items when applicable

Job Requirements: 

Currently hold a valid Alberta Security license1 year of Security experience Valid first aid certificate Excellent customer service skillsExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalStrong observational skillsKnowledge of basic computer applications, such as Word, Excel, and OutlookAbility to work in a team environmentAbility to walk or stand for lengthy durationsCommitment to professional development and training
