Carpenter (Custom Residential – Intermediate to Advanced)

About the Role: We're looking for a dependable, skilled carpenter with solid experience in residential construction. You will work confidently and competently with minimal direction to deliver consistent, high-quality workmanship. You'll be working on a mix of custom homes and renovation projects alongside a steady, professional team.

What You'll Work On

  • A wide range of carpentry tasks throughout custom home builds and renovations
  • Interior and exterior finishing, including trim when assigned
  • Installing windows and doors
  • Install trim, hang interior doors
  • Installing blocking, subfloors, hardware, and other structural or finish details
  • Occasional framing support
  • Collaborating with other trades to keep projects moving
  • Maintaining tools, equipment, and safe work practices
  • Solving problems on-site with minimal supervision

Required Experience

  • 5+ years in residential carpentry
  • Ability to work independently on key parts of a build
  • ​​Knowledge of masonry techniques and flooring installation processes
  • Understanding of plumbing systems for effective collaboration with plumbing professionals
  • Competence in finish-level work as a general benchmark of skill
  • Familiarity and proficiency with standard carpentry tools and safe work practices
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently on various job sites
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Nice to Have

  • Experience in custom homes
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to execute project specifications accurately
  • Ability to estimate materials when needed
  • General understanding of other trades for coordination
