The Role
As an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME), you will perform and certify aircraft maintenance in compliance with company policies and the Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs). Reporting to the Director of Maintenance, you will ensure all work meets high-quality standards and falls within the company's Approved Maintenance Organization (AMO) ratings. A valid AME M2 license is required.
Responsibilities
- Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (AME's) report to the DOM for performing all aircraft maintenance related duties required for customer aircraft in accordance with the company manuals and within the limitations listed on the AMO ratings certificates. Acceptable aviation industry standards shall be followed including proper certification of all parts and adherence to procedures and ensure tools and equipment requiring calibrations are current prior to use.
- You will be responsible for the quality of your work and accountable for the performance of assigned tasks on your assigned aircraft. Complete scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks using all required tools and materials
- Request parts and supplies as required
- You will be responsible for the maintenance of the work area and equipment.
- AME's shall be knowledgeable of assigned tasks and work shall be performed in accordance with the CAR's and the Company Maintenance Policy Manual.
- Record delays / incidents / accidents and any other related maintenance messages into the SMS.
- You may also be required to work away from the main base of operation in order to carry out repairs on grounded aircraft or supervise maintenance activities at 3rd party service centers.
- Other duties as assigned.
Who You Are
- Must hold a valid Transport Canada M2 AME license.
- Must be able to obtain and retain a Restricted Area Identification Card (RAIC)
- Minimum of 5 years working experience as a Licensed M2 AME
