Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Project Manager to lead and oversee complex projects across various departments. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with extensive experience in project management methodologies such as PMBOK, Agile, SAFe, Waterfall, and Kanban. This role involves managing cross-functional teams, coordinating vendor relationships, and ensuring successful project delivery within scope, time, and budget constraints. The Project Manager will play a critical role in driving project success through effective planning, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of projects using appropriate project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, SAFe).
  • Develop detailed project plans including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation using tools like Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or Project Server.
  • Manage project requirements gathering and requirements management processes to ensure clear scope definition.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including IT, product development, vendor partners, and stakeholders to facilitate seamless project execution.
  • Oversee vendor management activities to ensure deliverables meet quality standards and contractual obligations.
  • Monitor project progress through data analysis skills and tools such as Visio, SharePoint, ServiceNow, Trello, Workday, Basecamp.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines and outcomes.
  • Facilitate change management processes to adapt project scope or objectives as needed while maintaining stakeholder alignment.
  • Conduct regular status meetings and prepare presentations for executive leadership to communicate project health and key milestones.
  • Ensure adherence to quality management standards and continuous improvement practices throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage budgets effectively by tracking expenses and resource utilization to stay within financial parameters.

Skills

  • Proven experience in IT project management with familiarity in Salesforce, ERP systems, SAS, Requirements gathering tools like Jira or Microsoft Project.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies including PMBOK, Agile (Scrum), SAFe framework, Waterfall.
  • Expertise in team management and leadership with supervising experience across diverse teams.
  • Vendor management skills with the ability to negotiate contracts and manage external partnerships effectively.
  • Proficiency in risk management techniques and tools for proactive issue resolution.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Organizational skills with a focus on time management and prioritization in fast-paced environments.
  • Familiarity with product management concepts and product development lifecycle processes.
  • Technical proficiency in tools such as Jira, Trello, SharePoint, ServiceNow, Workday, Primavera P6, Visio for planning and reporting purposes.
