Phreesia is growing its Network Solutions business with the launch of a unique audience solution for programmatic media that connects healthcare providers (HCPs) to relevant, privacy-safe content experiences. The
Programmatic Lead, Healthcare Advertising
(a.k.a.
Lead, Programmatic Trading)
will drive the strategic and operational build-out of Phreesia's programmatic capabilities, leveraging deep buy-side expertise to optimize media performance, inventory connectivity, and audience activation.

You will be hands-on in campaign design, execution, and optimization, while serving as the internal expert on programmatic strategy, data partnerships, audience solutions, and inventory relationships. You will combine technical fluency in programmatic operations with your strong understanding of HCP and pharmaceutical marketing goals. You are analytical, who thrives in dynamic environments, and is motivated to build from the ground up. You can bridge trading strategy, ad tech infrastructure, and go-to-market execution, and is equally comfortable in a DSP console, data dashboard, or client strategy meeting.

Phreesia is a fully remote company; however, candidates located in ET and CT regions are given priority in the hiring process.

What You'll Do

  • Lead Programmatic Activation:
    Own media strategy, pacing, and optimization for Phreesia's new provider offering and audience solutions to deliver efficient, measurable results.
  • Manage Campaign Operations:
    Oversee audience onboarding, DSP setup, trafficking, QA, and performance analysis; streamline workflows with product and ops teams.
  • Drive Audience Activation:
    Collaborate with analytics to activate first-party audiences, assess performance, and improve targeting precision and ROI.
  • Partnership Development:
    Collaborate with data, supply, publisher partners, and SSPs to enhance inventory access, packaging, and deal structures aligned with HCP and brand goals.
  • Innovation & Enablement:
    Support the go-to-market for Phreesia's proprietary DSP and audience solutions by defining operational standards, test plans, and best practices that enable scalability and long-term growth.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 7 to 10+ years' experience in programmatic media activation across display, video, and CTV, with significant hands-on experience in Freewheel DSP or another major consumer or pharma-focused DSP.
  • Advanced knowledge of pharma digital media buying, optimization, and measurement, including third-party data integration and custom audience creation.
  • Proven track record managing large programmatic budgets for both brand awareness and performance goals.
  • Proven expertise in pharma and healthcare audience tactics: Custom and off-shelf audiences, lookalike modeling, search retargeting, and first-party data activation.
  • Clear, data-informed communicator who can articulate pharma media POVs while effectively managing projects, partnering cross-functionally, and making timely decisions.
  • Proficiency in DSPs, audience solutions (Swoop, Crossix), 3rd party ad serving (GAM360), and analytics tools like Excel and BI platforms.
