Summit Ridge Metals, a growing leader in digital metal fabrication for partial dentures, is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CAD/CAM & Metal Finishing Technician to join our production team. We manufacture high-quality partial denture frameworks using advanced digital design systems and state-of-the-art metal printing and finishing technology.

About the Role:

This position is a blend of CAD/CAM design and metal finishing work. You will assist in designing partial denture frameworks using digital CAD software and prepare files for metal printing, while also performing detailed finishing, contouring, and polishing of the printed metal frameworks. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both digital design and hands-on craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design partial denture frameworks using CAD/CAM software
  • Prepare, process, and troubleshoot digital files for metal printing
  • Perform detailed metal finishing, including trimming, contouring, smoothing, and polishing
  • Inspect printed frameworks for accuracy and make necessary design or finishing adjustments
  • Operate and maintain CAD/CAM, printing, and metal finishing equipment
  • Collaborate closely with lab technicians and dental professionals to meet design specifications
  • Follow established workflows and contribute to continual process improvements
  • Maintain accuracy, consistency, and high-quality standards throughout production

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with CAD/CAM dental design (partial denture experience preferred but training available)
  • Strong understanding of dental anatomy and RPD design principles is an asset
  • Experience with metal finishing, metal fabrication, or fine-detail technical work
  • Comfortable using rotary tools, grinders, and polishing equipment
  • High attention to detail, precision, and craftsmanship
  • Ability to learn new technologies and work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Dental lab or denture framework background is considered a strong asset
