Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and a keen ability to handle transactions accurately. As a Cashier, you will be the first point of contact for customers, responsible for providing excellent service while managing sales transactions and ensuring a positive shopping experience.

Duties

  • Process customer transactions quickly and accurately using the POS system.
  • Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with precision and care.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with inquiries and resolving issues.
  • Upsell products and services to enhance the customer experience and increase sales.
  • Maintain an organized and clean checkout area, ensuring all merchandise is properly displayed.
  • Perform basic math calculations to ensure accurate cash handling and register balancing.
  • Demonstrate product knowledge through effective product demos to assist customers in making informed purchasing decisions.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve store merchandising goals and maintain inventory levels.
  • Exhibit strong communication skills while engaging with customers in both English and other languages as needed (bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply).

Experience

  • Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with technology sales or technical sales is a plus, especially for candidates interested in selling electronic products.
  • Strong organizational skills and time management abilities are essential for managing multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills are required for interacting with customers effectively.
