Elevate Your Career as a Maintenance Planner/Scheduler

We're seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner/Scheduler to support critical non-process infrastructure operations in the oil and gas industry in the Fort McMurray region.

Role Overview

  • Planning & Scheduling: Plan and schedule trades and service providers for non-process infrastructure activities.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Develop and maintain a CMMS-based preventive maintenance program.
  • Work Packages: Prepare complete work packages including job plans, materials, parts, tooling, and cost estimates.
  • Service Requests: Create and distribute service requests, work orders, PMs, and purchase requisitions.
  • Infrastructure Oversight: Support planning for site road networks, buildings, aerodrome operations, and fire protection systems.
  • Operational Workflow: Prioritize work notifications based on safety and operational needs.
  • KPI Support: Monitor planning backlog, capacity utilization, and maintenance cost performance.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and other stakeholders.
  • Safety & Compliance: Reinforce safe work practices and ensure compliance with site processes.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Planning: Strong planning and scheduling capabilities.
  • CMMS Proficiency: Experience with CMMS systems.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Communication: Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data and drive continuous improvement.
  • Microsoft Office: Proficient in MS Office applications (Visio, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with SAP and MOC processes.
  • Experience with fire protection systems, water/wastewater treatment, and facilities maintenance workflows.

Education & Experience

  • Certification: Journeyman Trade Certification required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5+ years industrial experience and 3+ years in planning and scheduling.
