Are you an experienced planning and scheduling professional that takes pride in building positive relationships? We are hiring a Maintenance Planner & Scheduler in Fort McMurray who has experience with mobile maintenance equipment

**Job Description**:
In this role, you will develop concise plans that support safe and efficient maintenance of mining equipment in a fast paced environment

In this role, you will develop job plans that support safe, environmentally responsible and efficient maintenance and outage work to optimize plant performance.

Minimum Requirements:
- Three or more years of mobile maintenance experience working in oil and gas or a similar industrial environment- Experience using computerized maintenance management systems, such as SAP- A High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)- A valid driver’s licence and a clean driving record- Strong understanding of maintenance planning and scheduling concepts- Mechanical trade certificate or diploma in a relevant technical field and/or completion of planning and scheduling courses is an asset

**Responsibilities**:
- Promote safe working practices in all production and scheduling activities, and follow the set work breakdown structure in the creation of all maintenance schedules- Collaborate with maintenance and operations to figure out the critical-path items and the important outage achievements- Develop and maintain detailed task lists to assist in the creation of job plans- Build and distribute weekly or daily schedules to the maintenance team; facilitate schedule development meetings and craft capacity outlook reports- Submit detailed reports of work progress and status, and assist in reviews that compare actuals with planned projections and schedule; analyze earned value to communicate any possible issues- Provide and distribute the planned daily shift work scope schedules and discuss and explain the schedules with each of the individual field coordinators

Location and other key details:
- You will work out of our Base Plant Mine in Fort McMurray, Alberta- Hours of work are a 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday- If you reside outside of Fort McMurray, relocation of your primary residence to within 60 km of Fort McMurray is mandatory
