About the clinic:

We are a well-established outpatient specialty clinic providing minor procedures and post-procedure care.

Our clinic emphasizes clear clinical protocols, defined scopes of practice, and collaborative teamwork between physicians and nursing staff.

This role is ideal for an LPN who values professional boundaries, structured workflows, and a stable clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide post-procedure and wound care in an outpatient setting
  • Perform patient assessments and monitoring according to physician orders
  • Assist with minor procedures within LPN scope of practice
  • Administer medications as prescribed
  • Deliver clear post-care instructions to patients
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Communicate observations and concerns to physicians using established protocols
  • Support clinic flow while maintaining patient comfort and privacy

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) registered with BCCNM
  • Minimum 1–2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred
  • Experience in LTC, community care, surgical, or outpatient clinics is an asset
  • Strong wound care skills or willingness to develop specialty wound care expertise
  • Comfortable working in a structured, protocol-driven environment
  • Calm, professional, and emotionally steady under pressure
  • Able to work independently within physician orders and nursing scope
