Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring that all areas are hygienic and welcoming. This role requires a strong work ethic, excellent time management skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Duties

  • Perform general cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming to maintain a clean environment.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools as necessary for cleaning and maintenance tasks.
  • Conduct commercial cleaning duties in various settings, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
  • Assist with facilities maintenance by reporting any damages or required repairs to management.
  • Manage time effectively to complete all assigned tasks within designated timeframes.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing any inquiries or concerns from facility occupants.
  • Perform heavy lifting when required to move furniture or equipment during cleaning processes.
  • Maintain communication with supervisors regarding job progress and any issues encountered.

Experience

  • Previous custodial experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
  • Familiarity with commercial cleaning practices and equipment is advantageous.
  • Experience in facilities maintenance is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and clients.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $19.69-$25.00 per hour
