Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning tasks, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage time effectively while handling multiple responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces in commercial spaces.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various cleaning and maintenance tasks.
  • Conduct facilities maintenance duties as needed to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by responding to inquiries and addressing concerns regarding cleanliness and maintenance.
  • Manage time efficiently to complete all assigned tasks within designated timeframes.
  • Assist with heavy lifting when necessary, ensuring proper techniques are used to maintain safety.
  • Maintain an organized supply inventory and report any shortages or equipment malfunctions promptly.
  • Collaborate with team members to uphold high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the facility.

Requirements

  • Previous custodial experience or commercial cleaning background is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
  • Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely in a cleaning context.
  • Knowledge of facilities maintenance practices is a plus.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods during shifts.
