Position: Equipment Operator
Location: Behchokǫ̀, NT
Employment Type: Full-time Permanent 

Position Summary:

TEL is seeking an experienced and reliable Equipment Operator to join our team in Behchokǫ̀. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating various types of heavy equipment to support community and project operations in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate the Fuel Truck to deliver fuel to community clients and project sites.
  • Operate heavy equipment such as loaders, graders, and trucks.
  • Conduct pre- and post-operation inspections and perform basic maintenance.
  • Ensure all equipment and vehicles meet safety and environmental standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of operations and fuel deliveries.
  • Follow all company policies and safety procedures.
  • Assist with other duties as required to support TEL operations.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Valid Class 3 Driver's License required.
  • Previous experience operating fuel truck and heavy equipment is an asset.
  • Must demonstrate a strong safety mindset and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Fluency in English required; Tłı̨chǫ language considered an asset.
